Help Accessing Your Account

Entering your SID or SSN:

You must enter either your 9 digit Student Identification (SID) or Social Security Number (SSN). Your SID begins with the numbers 898 and can be found on your monthly billing statement as well as on all correspondence that you have received from the SUNY Student Loan Service Center.

     Entering your Password:

You were assigned a 5 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) when your loan was established. The PIN will allow you to access your online account for the first time. Once you initially enter your online account you will be prompted to change the PIN to a “Password”.

     How Do I Get My PIN or Password?

If you do not know your 5 digit PIN you have 3 options on the sign-in page: “Reset Password”, “Email My Password”, or “Contact” the SLSC office. If you have an email address on file with the SLSC you can request the PIN, or Password (if account already established) to be emailed to you. The “Reset Password” option will prompt you to provide identifying information, and your PIN, or password, will be displayed for you.
